REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

TRUNK LID HINGE
1. Remove trunk lid hinge torsion bar.
(1) Remove the torsion bar by using the torsion bar wrench(09861-22000) as shown in the illustration.








2. Remove rear pillar trim.
(1) Remove pillar blanking cover and bolt.




(2) Remove rear pillar trim.




3. Remove rear seat cushion.
(1) Release seat cushion stopper.




(2) Remove rear seat cushion.
4. Remove rear seatback.
(1) Remove seatback mounting bolts(4).

Tightening torque :
17 - 26 Nm (1.7 - 2.6 kg-m, 12 - 19 lb-ft)





(2) Remove seat belt from belt guide.
(3) Release seatback stopper, and then remove seatback.




5. Remove rear package tray trim
(1) Remove fasteners(6).




(2) Remove rear package tray trim.




6. Remove trunk lid hinge.
(1) Remove trunk lid hinge mounting bolts(6) (LH/RH).




(2) Remove trunk lid hinge.




7. Install in reverse order of removal.
