INSPECTION

Turn the ignition key to ON. Cover the front sensor and aim an incandescent lamp at the rear sensor. The mirror should darken. Set the parking brake, and place the transaxle in 'R' range. The mirror should not darken.

REPLACEMENT

1. Push the inside rear view mirror base down to remove the inside rear view mirror assembly (A) after removing the mirror wire cover.





NOTE:
Take care not to damage the mounting bracket spring during removal / installation.




2. Installation is the reverse of removal.
