Repair Procedures





REMOVAL

1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove the A/C switch connector(A), alternator connector(B) and oil pressure switch connector(C).




4. Remove the OCV connector(A), OTS connector(B), P/S switch connector(C).




5. Remove the injector connector(A).




6. Disconnect the engine wire harness connectors.
(1) Remove the ETC connector(B), CMP connector(C), knock sensor connector(D).




7. Remove the delivery pipe(A).




8. Remove the coolant hoses(A) from the throttle body.




9. Remove the oil pressure switch connector(A) from the bracket.




10. Remove the knock sensor connector(A) from the bracket.




11. Remove the PCSV vacuum hose, brake vacuum hose.
12. Remove the PCV hose(A).




13. Remove the intake manifold stay(A).




14. Remove the oil level gauge.
15. Remove the intake manifold and gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the intake manifold and gasket.

Tightening torque :
18.6 - 27.5Nm (1.9 - 2.8kgf.m, 13.7 - 20.2lb-ft)


2. Install the intake manifold stay(A).

Tightening torque :
18.6 - 23.5Nm (1.9 - 2.4kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4lb-ft)





3. Install the PCV hose(A).




4. Install the PCSV vacuum hose, brake vacuum hose.
5. Install the knock sensor connector(A) to the bracket.




6. Install the oil pressure switch connector(A) to the bracket.




7. Install the coolant hoses(A) to the throttle body.




8. Install the delivery pipe(A).




9. Install the engine wire harness connectors.
(1) Install the ETC connector(B), CMP connector(C) and the knock sensor connector(D).




10. Install the injector connector(A).




11. Install the OCV connector(A), OTS connector(B), P/S switch connector(C).




12. Install the A/C switch connector(A), alternator connector(B) and oil pressure switch connector(C).




13. Install the air cleaner assembly.
14. Install the engine cover.
