REMOVAL

WATER PUMP
1. Drain the engine coolant.

WARNING:
System is under high pressure when the engine is hot. To avoid danger of releasing scalding engine coolant, remove the cap only when the engine is cool.

2. Remove drive belt.
3. Remove exhaust manifold.
4. Remove water inlet pipe nut.
5. Remove the water pump(A).






INSTALLATION

WATER PUMP
1. Install the water pump.
(1) Install the water pump(A) and a new gasket with the 5 bolts.

Tightening torque
18.6 - 23.5Nm (1.9 - 2.4kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4lb-ft)





2. Install water inlet pipe nut.

Tightening torque
18.6 - 23.5Nm (1.9 - 2.4kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4lb-ft)


3. Install exhaust manifold.
4. Install drive belt.
5. Fill with engine coolant.
6. Start engine and check for leaks.
7. Recheck engine coolant level.
