Acceleration/Deceleration Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2. Remove the crash pad assembly.
3. Remove the heater & blower unit.
4. Disconnect the Longitudinal G sensor connector.
5. Remove the mounting bolts (A).

Tightening torque:
4.9 - 6.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.7 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.1 lb-ft)

6. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
Deviation to reference axis perpendicular to driving direction ±2°
