Repair Procedures

Removal

1. Disconnect the O2 sensor connector (A) and then remove the front muffler (B).
2. Remove the exhaust manifold stay bolt (C).




3. Remove the heat protector (A).




4. Remove the exhaust manifold (A) and gasket.






Installation

1. Install the exhaust manifold (A) with a new gasket.

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 44.1N.m (4.0 - 4.5kgf.m, 28.9 - 32.5lb-ft)





2. Install the heat protector (A).

Tightening torque :
7.8 - 11.8N.m (0.8 - 1.2kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7lb-ft)





3. Install the exhaust manifold stay bolt (C).

Tightening torque :
42.2 - 53.9N.m (4.3. ~ 5.5kgf.m, 31.1 - 39.8lb-ft)


4. Install the front muffler (B) and then connect the O2 sensor connector (A).

Tightening torque :
39.2 - 58.8N.m (4.0 - 6.0kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4lb-ft)
