2009 Spectra (LD) HVAC Stuck on Cold

On 2009 Spectra (LD) vehicles manufactured between May 15th and May 28th, 2008 the temperature actuator may not operate when adjusting the temperature control knob. (The temperature actuator is stuck in the cool mode and air heating is impossible.)

Within the above mentioned production date range, this concern is most likely caused by an internal malfunction in the Heater Control Assembly, and not the Actuator Assembly.

For 2009 Spectra (LD) vehicles manufactured in this production range with a customer complaint of the HVAC system stuck in the cool mode (heating impossible), first replace the Heater Control Assembly (P/N 97250 2F062LK) before attempting any other repair.
