Inspection/Repair - W/Harness Inspection

Terminal & Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






CLU Signal Circuit Inspection

1. Check CAN High Line.
(1) IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
(2) After connect GDS, select "Oscilloscope" mode.
(3) Measure the signal waveform on CLU CAN High line.

Specification : Refer to "Signal Waveform"








(4) Does the measured signal waveform follow the specification?





2. Check CAN Low Line.
(1) IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
(2) After connect GDS, select "Oscilloscope" mode.
(3) Measure the signal waveform on CLU CAN Low line.

Specification : Refer to "Signal Waveform"
