2011 Sorento (XMa) Battery Current Draw Caused by Improper Connections at the IPM for HomeLink Mirror

On 2011 Sorento (XMa) model vehicles equipped with HomeLink Mirror, if you encounter a customer concern of unintentional battery discharge, first check to see if the green power indicator light and the compass stay on after the ignition has been turned off for more then 30 seconds. If so, then the wiring for the HomeLink Mirror is improperly connected at the IPM (Instrument Panel Module/fuse box).
