Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

Description

1. In-car air temperature sensor is located at the center facia lower panel.
2. The In Car Sensor is a negative type thermistor. The resistance will rise with lower temperature, and reduce with higher temperature.
3. The sensor contains a thermistor which is used to measure the temperature inside of the vehicle. The sensor value is delivered to heater control unit, which, according to this signal will regulates in-car temperature.
