Rear Glass Defogger Switch

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the front seat heater switch module.

3. Remove the heater control unit (B) with rear glass defogger switch (A).




4. Remove the heater control unit connector (A).






Installation

1. Install the heater control unit.
2. Install the seat heater switch module.

Inspection

1. It will be able to diagnose defects of rear glass defogger with GDS quickly. GDS can operates actuator forcefully, input/output value monitoring and self diagnosis.
2. Select "Current data", if you will check current data of rear glass defogger system. It provides input/output status of rear glass defogger.




3. If you will check the rear glass defogger operation forcefully, select "Actuation test".




4. To check the DTC of the rear glass defogger, select "Diagnostic trouble codes"
