Charging A/C System & Final Testing

CHARGING A/C SYSTEM & FINAL TESTING

1. Connect A/C system to R-134a refrigerant handling system and vacuum test system for integrity.

Connect battery.

NOTE:
Refrigerant charge may be varied by ±5%

3. Refer to the workshop manual as applicable and charge system using approved procedure with specified amount of R-134a refrigerant for Range Rover Classic or Defender 110.

^ Range Rover -1.05 kg (2.25 lb)
^ Defender 110 - 0.9 kg (2 lb)

4. Test system for leaks and operability.

5. Complete two part label supplied with kit and apply over the top of original R-12 refrigerant warning label on the hood locking platform.

6. Note the change to R-134a refrigerant in the Passport to Service log book.
