System Disassembly

SYSTEM DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Refer to the precautions and warnings in the Land Rover Workshop Manual.

1. Recover R-12 refrigerant and complete discharge.

2. Disconnect the battery.

3. Disconnect and remove the following components:

^ Receiver drier from mounting bracket
^ A/C service valves from compressor
^ Electrical connections from compressor

4. Remove compressor from vehicle.





5. Drain all oil from compressor and discard used oil. (Figure 1)
