Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Disconnect leads from solenoid and starter.
4. Remove heat shield.
5. Remove starter mounting bolts, then the starter.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque mounting bolts to 32 ft. lbs.
