Vehicles within the above VIN range equipped with a 7.5 amp fuse for the fuel pump, may experience fuel pump operation problems as the result of a blown fuse.

ACTION REQUIRED

Information only:
If during diagnosis the fuel pump is found to be not working, check the fuel pump fuse.

If equipped with a 7.5 amp fuse which has blown, replace the fuse with an uprated 10 amp fuse.

PROCEDURE

Locate the center console fuse box forward of the gear lever.





Refer to the illustration, and remove the 7.5 amp fuel pump fuse (number 20).

Install a 10 amp fuse.

Clean the fuse box label surface carefully and completely.

Apply the new label (AMR 5515) over the old label and install the fuse box cover.
