Following the introduction of the remote mounted ignition amplifier, the distributor air gap is now less sensitive, which has enabled the distributor to become non adjustable.
The distributor is clearly identified by a black insulating cover, this replaces the clear type presently fitted under the distributor cap.
From the above VIN range the air gap is now non-adjustable.
NOTE:
The air gap must not be adjusted. Any attempt to do so will void the Land Rover warranty on this part.

PARTS INFORMATION
The new black insulating cover is not interchangeable.
Old type distributors are still available for vehicles prior to the above VIN number.
