Front


Sensor - ABS - Front

Service Repair No - 70.65.30

Remove





1. Release ABS sensor harness grommet from inner wing valance and disconnect multiplug.





2. Pull harness through aperture into wheel arch.
3. Release harness from brackets on inner wing valance, suspension turret and front hub.
4. Remove front brake disc.





5. Remove Allen screw, release ABS sensor from front hub and discard O-ring.





6. Loosen 4 bolts securing front hub to swivel hub.
7. Release front hub from swivel hub sufficiently to allow sensor harness to be removed.

Refit

1. Clean ABS sensor and mating face.
2. Apply anti-seize grease to sensor.
3. Lubricate and fit new O-ring
4. Position ABS sensor between hub and swivel hub. Tighten Allen screw to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
5. Position hub and tighten bolts to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
6. Secure harness to brackets and secure grommet to inner wing valance.
7. Connect multiplug to harness.
8. Fit front brake disc.
