ENGINE MANAGEMENT � 4.4 LITER V8 ENGINE
The 4.4 liter V8 Engine Management System (EMS) is controlled by an Engine Control Module (ECM) manufactured by DENSO. The EMS controls the following:
- Engine fueling
- Ignition timing
- Closed loop fueling
- Knock control
- Idle speed control
- Emission control
- On Board Diagnostics
- Interface with the immobilization system
- Cruise control
