Parking Assist Control Module: Service and Repair



Parking Aid Module

Service Repair No - 86.54.10

Removal

NOTE: If a new parking aid module is to be installed, configure the parking aid module using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the access panel from the loadspace trim panel RH.
3. Remove the loadspace trim panel, floor stowage compartment RH access cover.
^ Remove the warning triangle.
4. Release the fuse box.
^ Remove the 3 bolts.
^ Remove and discard the 3 tie straps.
^ Reposition the wiring harness.





5. Remove the parking aid module.
^ Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
^ Remove the 2 nuts.





Installation
1. Install the parking aid module.
^ Install the nuts.
^ Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Secure the fuse box.
^ Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm (4 ft. lbs.).
^ Reposition the wiring harness.
^ Secure the wiring harness with new tie straps.
3. Install the loadspace trim panel, floor stowage compartment RH access cover.
^ Install the warning triangle.
4. Install the access panel to the loadspace trim panel RH.
5. Connect the battery ground cable.
6. Using the Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, follow the on screen instructions and configure the parking aid module.
