Yaw Rate Sensor

Service Repair No - 70.70.35

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the floor console.

3. CAUTION: Make sure the wiring harness is protected when cutting the carpet.

Remove the yaw rate sensor
^ Cut the carpet for access.
^ Position the wiring harness aside.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.
^ Remove the 2 bolts.





Installation
1. Install the yaw rate sensor.
^ Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.).
^ Connect the electrical connector.
^ Attach the wiring harness.
^ Attach the carpet.
2. Install the floor console.
3. If a new yaw rate sensor has been installed, interrogate the ABS system using T4.
