Front Wheel Speed Sensor
Front Wheel Speed SensorService Repair No - 70.65.30
Removal
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire.
3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
^ Open the electrical connector housing.
^ Release the electrical connector from the clip.
4. Release the front wheel speed sensor wiring harness.
5. Remove the front wheel speed sensor.
^ Release the clip.
^ Remove the bolt.
Installation
1. Install the front wheel speed sensor.
^ Apply anti-seize compound to the wheel speed sensor.
^ Tighten the bolt to 8 Nm (6 ft. lbs.).
^ Secure the clip.
2. Secure the front wheel speed sensor wiring harness.
^ Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
^ Secure the electrical connector in the clip.
^ Close the electrical connector housing.
3. Install the wheel and tire.
^ Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.).
4. Using the approved Land Rover diagnostic system, clear the fault codes from the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module.
