Removal
1 Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications Service and Repair
2 Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to Intake Manifold Service and Repair




3 Remove the KS.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the RH KS electrical connector retaining clip.
- Remove the bolt.

Installation
1 To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Clean the component mating faces.
- Tighten the bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb.ft).
