Tailgate Wiring Harness

Removal
1 Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Procedures
2 Remove the tailgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to Tailgate Trim Panel Tailgate Trim Panel




3 Disconnect the 5 electrical connectors.
4 Release the 6 harness clips.
5 Release the tailgate wiring harness.
- Release the grommet.
6 Release the luggage compartment floor covering.




7 Disconnect the tailgate harness electrical connector from the body harness.
8 Remove the tailgate wiring harness.

Installation
1 Install the tailgate wiring harness.
2 Connect the tailgate harness electrical connector to the body harness
3 Connect the electrical connectors.
4 Install the tailgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to Tailgate Trim Panel Tailgate Trim Panel
5 Secure the luggage compartment floor covering.
6 Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Procedures
