Ignition Coil: Testing and Inspection

Ignition Coil Resistance Testing - Primary Coil:

- Disconnect ignition coil electrical connector.
- Measure resistance across primary terminals.

Should be 0.40 - 0.50 ohms

Ignition Coil Resistance Testing - Secondary Coil:

- Remove coil high tension wire.
- Measure resistance between high voltage terminal and indicated connector terminal.

Should be 10.2 - 13.8k ohms

- Replace coil if results are not achieved.
