Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Remove steering column as described under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS BODY COMPONENTS/STEERING/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR/STEERING COLUMN.
3. Disconnect ignition switch connector.
4. Remove screws and ignition switch from key cylinder and wire harness clamp, Fig. 15.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
