Powertrain Management: Locations

Component Locations:

Electronic Control Module (ECM)
Mounted under the right side of the dash.

Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
Threaded into the front of the intake manifold.

EGR Temperature Sensor
Threaded into the EGR valve on the rear of the intake air chamber.

Fuel Injectors
Located along the edge of the intake manifold, near the cylinder head mating surface.

Fuel Pump ECU
Mounted in the left rear of the passenger compartment.

Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve
Mounted to the side of the throttle body.

Knock Sensors
Mounted to the engine block under the intake manifold.

SFI Main Relay
In the relay box in the left front corner of the engine compartment.

Volume Air Flow Meter
Mounted to the air cleaner box in the right corner of the engine compartment.
