EGR Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION 1.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between both terminals.
Resistance:
At 50°C (112°F): 64 - 97 k ohms
At 100°C (212°F): 11 - 16 k ohms
At 150°C (302°F): 2 - 4 k ohms If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
