Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and disable airbag system as described under Technician Safety Information.
2. Disconnect two fuel tubes from body.
3. Remove rubber cap and nut, then disconnect starter wire and connector.
4. Remove starter.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque starter bolts to 29 ft. lb.
