Removal and Installation

1. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE (-) CABLE FROM BATTERY
2. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT IN REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
3. REMOVE COOLING AND BLOWER UNIT
4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM RADIATOR AND ENGINE DRAIN COCKS
5. REMOVE WATER VALVE
6. DISCONNECT WATER HOSE FROM ENGINE





a. Grip the claws of the hose clip with pliers and slide the clip along the hose to a place where it does not clamp the hose to the pipe.
b. Disconnect the water hose.





7. REMOVE INSULATOR RETAINER
- Remove two nuts and the insulator retainer.
8. REMOVE SAFETY PAD
9. REMOVE REAR VENT DUCTS
10. REMOVE HEATER DUCTS
11. REMOVE HEATER TO RESISTER NO.3 DUCT





12. REMOVE HEATER UNIT
- Remove four nuts and the heater unit.
