Radiator: Service and Repair


1. Remove battery, then the engine undercover.
2. Drain engine coolant into suitable container.
3. Remove radiator reservoir tank as follows:
a. Disconnect coolant level sensor electrical connector, then the reservoir hose from water inlet housing and reservoir hose from radiator.
b. Remove reservoir tank bracket bolts, then the bracket.
c. Remove reservoir tank to radiator bolt, then disconnect tank from bracket and remove tank.
4. Disconnect upper radiator, lower radiator and transmission oil cooler hoses from radiator. Plug hose ends to prevent contamination.
5. Disconnect pressure and return hoses from hydraulic motor. Plug hose ends to prevent contamination.
6. Remove bracket bolts, brackets and bushings, then disconnect cooling fan inlet pipe from fan shroud.
7. Disconnect suction hose from clamp on fan shroud, then remove reservoir tank bolts and reservoir.
8. Disconnect ECT sensor electrical connector.
9. Remove upper radiator support bolts and screws, then the supports.
10. Slightly lift radiator and disconnect cooling fan oil cooler hoses from hose clamp on radiator fan shroud.
11. Remove radiator assembly, then the lower radiator supports from radiator.
12. Remove fan shroud bolts, then the fan shroud from radiator.
13. Reverse procedure to install.
