Wiper Motor

Refer to Fig. 5 when testing wiper motor.
1. Test low speed operation as follows:
a. Connect positive lead from battery to terminal 3 and negative lead to motor body.
b. If motor does not operate at low speed, replace motor.
2. Test high speed operation as follows:
a. Connect positive lead from battery to terminal 2 and negative lead to motor body.
b. If motor does not operate at high speed, replace motor.
3. Test operation of wiper parking as follows:
a. Operate motor at low speed and stop motor operation any where except at stop position by disconnecting positive lead from terminal 3.
b. Connect terminals 3 and 5, then connect positive lead from battery to terminal 6 and negative lead to motor body. Ensure motor stops running at stop position after motor operates again.
c. If operation is not as specified, replace motor.
