Neutral Safety Switch: Service and Repair






1. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE.
2. REMOVE RH SIDE HEAT INSULATOR.
3. DISCONNECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH CONNECTOR.
4. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH.
- Remove the nut, washer and control shaft lever.
- Pry off the lock washer and remove the nut.
- Remove the bolt and pull out the park/neutral position switch.
5. INSTALL AND ADJUST PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH.
6. CONNECT PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH CONNECTOR.
7. INSTALL RH SIDE HEAT INSULATOR.
8. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE.
