Heater Core: Service and Repair

1. Remove cooling unit as outlined under Evaporator Core, Service and Repair.
2. Drain engine coolant from radiator.
3. Disconnect water hoses from heater core.
4. Remove pipe grommets.
5. Remove instrument panel and reinforcement as outlined under Dash Panel Service.
6. Remove duct heater to register No. 3.
7. Remove heater unit.
8. Remove heater core retaining screws and plates.
9. Pull heater core from heater unit.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
