Catalytic Converter: Testing and Inspection
CATALYTIC CONVERTER INSPECTION 1.
Check for dents or damage.

If any part of the protector is damaged or dented to the extent that it touches the TWC, repair or replace it.
2.
Check heat insulator for damage.
3.
Check for adequate clearance between TWC and heat insulator.
