Air Bag Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disarm SRS as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.
2. Remove transfer shift knob and front console box, Fig. 61.

3. Remove air bag sensor assembly electrical connector.
4. Remove assembly mounting screws with suitable Torx wrench, then remove assembly.
5. Reverse procedure to install and tighten mounting screws to specifications.
