Windshield Washer Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. Inspect low speed motor operation as follows:
a. Connect battery positive lead to terminal 3 and negative to terminal 2.
b. Ensure motor operation.
2. Inspect motor operation, stopping at stop position, as follows:
a. Operate motor, then disconnect terminal 3 to stop motor operation.
b. Connect terminals 3 and 4.
c. Connect battery positive lead to terminal 1 and negative lead to terminal 2.
d. Ensure motor stops running at stop position after motor operates again.
e. If operation is not as indicated, replace motor.
