Control Assembly: Service and Repair

A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

1. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
(a) Shift lever knob
(b) Upper console panel
(c) Front ash receptacle
(d) No. 3 resistor





2. REMOVE A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY WITH RADIO
(a) Remove the 5 bolts and the A/C control assembly with the radio then disconnect the connectors.





3. REMOVE A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY FROM RADIO
(a) Remove the B bolts and 4 screws.
(b) Pull out and remove the brackets.
(c) Remove the A/C control assembly from radio.

A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
