Control Module HVAC: Testing and Inspection

A/C AMPLIFIER INSPECTION
INSPECT AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT





(a) Disconnect the connector from the amplifier and inspect connector on wire harness side, as shown in the chart below.





Test conditions:
^ Ignition switch ON
^ Temperature control switch MAX COOL
^ Blower switch HI
^ A/C switch ON

If circuit is as specified. try to replace the amplifier with a new one. If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.

AMPLIFIER INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
