Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
INSPECTION
INSPECT SENSOR RESISTANCE Measure resistance between terminals at each temperature.
Standard resistance:
at 0° C (32° F): 50 K Ohms or less
at 40° C (104° F): 2.5 - 2.7 K Ohms
at 100° C (212° F) 0.2 K Ohms or less
If resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.
