Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND MAF METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the MAF meter connector and wire clamp.
(b) Disconnect the cruise control actuator cable.
(c) Loosen the air cleaner hose clamp
(d) Remove the wing nut.
(e) Disconnect the 3 clips.
(f) Disconnect the MAF meter from the air cleaner hose, and remove the air cleaner cap and MAF meter assembly.





2. REMOVE MAF METER
Remove the 4 bolts, bracket and MAF meter.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL MAF METER
Install the MAF meter and bracket with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 6.9 N.m (70 kgf.cm, 61 in.lbf)

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP AND MAF METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the MAF meter to the air cleaner hose.
(b) Install the air cleaner cap and MAF mater assembly with the 3 clips and wing nut.
(c) Tighten the air cleaner hose clamp.
(d) Connect the cruise control actuator cable.
(e) Connect the MAF meter connector and wire clamp.
