Air Conditioning Amplifier

INSPECTION

1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT PARTS
2. INSPECT AMPLIFIER CIRCUIT

Terminal Identification:

Reference:

a. Disconnect the amplifier and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown in the chart above. Test conditions:
^ A/C switch ON
^ Temperature control lever MAX COOL
^ Blower control switch HI
If circuit is as specified, try to replace the amplifier with a new one. If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.

b. Connect the connector to A/C amplifier and inspect wire harness side connector from the back side, as shown in the chart above.
Test conditions:
^ Ignition switch ON
^ A/C switch ON
^ Temperature control lever MAX COOL
^ Blower control switch HI
^ Set on manifold gauge set
If circuit is as specified try to replace the amplifier with a new one. If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
