Removal





COMPRESSOR REMOVAL
1. RUN ENGINE AT IDLE SPEED WITH A/C ON FOR APPROX. 10 MINUTES
2. STOP THE ENGINE
3. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE (-) TERMINAL CABLE FROM BATTERY
4. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

5. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE AND SUCTION HOSE FROM COMPRESSOR

NOTE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

6. REMOVE DRIVE BELT

7. REMOVE COMPRESSOR
(a) Remove the engine under cover.
(b) Disconnect the connector from compressor.
(c) Loosen the 4 bolts and nut.
(d) Remove the stud bolt.
(e) Remove the nut and the 4 bolts.
(f) Remove the compressor.
