Bank 1 and 2 Sensor 2


OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT INSPECTION (BANK 1 SENSOR 2)

1. INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR
(BANK 1 SENSOR 2)
(a) Remove the transmission shift lever knob.
(b) Remove the cup holder.
(c) Remove the upper rear console panel.
(d) Remove the upper console panel.
(e) Remove the radio.





(f) Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals +B and HT.

Resistance: 11 - 16 Ohms at 20°C (68°F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.

Torque: 20 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)

(g) Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
(h) Reinstall the radio.
(i) Reinstall the upper console panel.
(j) Reinstall the upper rear console panel.
(k) Reinstall the cup holder.
(l) Reinstall the transmission shift lever knob.
