COMPONENTS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

IAC VALVE REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER
3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR
4. REMOVE NO.3 TIMING BELT COVER
5. REMOVE LOWER HIGH-TENSION CORD COVER
6. REMOVE IAC VALVE
(a) Disconnect 3 water bypass hoses from the IAC valve.
(b) Disconnect the IAC valve connector.





(c) Remove the 2 nuts, IAC valve and gasket.

Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

INSTALLATION HINT: Use a new gasket.
