Flywheel Installation
The flywheel bolts are tightened in 2 progressive steps, (a) and (c).

Flywheel Bolt Tightening Sequence:

(a) Install and uniformly tighten the 8 flywheel mounting bolts, in several passes, in the sequence shown. Torque to 43 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).
(b) Mark the flywheel bolt with paint.

Flywheel Bolt Final Tightening Step:

(c) Retighten the flywheel bolts by an additional 90°.
(d) Check that the painted mark is now at a 90° angle to (step b).
