Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION INSPECT
THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (a)
Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
(b)
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals VC and E2.
Resistance: 1.25 - 2.35 k ohms at 20° C (68° F) If the resistance is not as specified, replace the
throttle position sensor.
(c)
Reconnect the
throttle position sensor connector.
