Introduction

Early production 1998 LS 400 Navigation Display units may have spacers on the mounting brackets, (P/N 86211-50030 = R and P/N 86212-50030 = L) that are not needed for replacement units.

Repair Procedure






When replacing the Navigation Display unit, remove the spacer located at the bottom of each bracket. The two spacers are fixed by a double sided tape and should be removed by using a screwdriver or a scraper tool. The spacer locations are shown in the diagram:
