REMOVAL

NOTICE: Do not open the cover or the case of the ECU and electrical device unless absolutely necessary.
(If the IC terminals are touched, the IC may be destroyed by static electricity.)






1. REMOVE THESE PARTS:
a. Shift lever knob
b. Upper console panel rear
c. Cup holder
d. Upper console panel
e. Radio assembly






2. REMOVE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
a. Using a torx wrench, loosen the 3 screws.

Torx wrench: T40 (Part No. 09042-0020 or locally manufactured tool)

b. Disconnect the connector.

NOTICE: Disconnect the connector with the airbag sensor assembly still installed to the body.

c. Remove the 3 torx screws and airbag sensor assembly.
