Crankshaft Main Bearing
Main Bearing Cap Bolt Torque
Step 1
27 Nm (20 ft.lb.)
Step 2
Turn 90 degrees
Cross Bolts
49 Nm (36 ft.lb.)
If any one of the bolts is broken or deformed, replace it.
Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the main bearing cap bolts.
