Removal and Installation

Starter:

Magnetic Switch Assembly:

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BATTERY AND TRAY
2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND AIR CLEANER CASE
a. Disconnect the MAF meter connector, wire clamp and EVAP hose from air cleaner cap.
b. Remove the air cleaner cap and air filter.
c. Remove the 3 bolts and air cleaner case.

Torque: 5.0 Nm (50 kg.cm, 44 in.lb)




3. REMOVE STARTER
a. Disconnect the starter connector.
b. Remove the nut, and disconnect the starter wire.
c. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.

Torque: 37 Nm (380 kg.cm, 27 ft.lb)

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
